Panther Creek State Park
Sunday was spent riding at Panther Creek with Luke, Andy, Justin and Matt. The trails were dry for a couple of hours then it rained some and we waited for it to stop and took off again but in 20 minuets it started raining hard and we headed for Knoxville. It was fun and the trails were in pretty good shape. Excellent Sunday ride. (logged 2009-07-05)

Panther Creek State Park
Panther Creek State Park has many types of terrain to offer. The trails go from rocky to root strewn to smooth and back again. There are tight twisty sections, a rock garden, some fairly long sweet singletrack sections as well as sturdy bridges and wide-open double track. Panther Creek is about 45 minuets from downtown Knoxville and is worth checking out. Panther Creek is home to the Disc Burner 12 Hour Mountain Bike Race each year and also boasts camping, a pool, boat docks, sand volleyball court, hiking and even a few equestrian only trails.
